Welcome Letters 2011

Dear Exhibitors and Guests,

On behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I am happy to extend my greetings and congratulations to all those taking part in these WorldFood Kazakhstan – Food Industry and AgroWorldKazakhstan – Agriculture Exhibitions.

The agriculture of Kazakhstan plays a significant role in the country’s economy and, in some aspects, in that of the Central Asian region on the whole. Considering the importance of the agrarian sector, government policies in this area are of top priority as it is the extent of development thereof that the level of the country’s food security entirely depends on.

Traditionally hosted by Atakent Exhibition Centre, WorldFood Kazakhstan and AgroWorldKazakhstan Exhibitions contribute to the development of domestic entrepreneurship in the field of agricultural business, consolidation of existing and establishment of new business contacts, development of interregional and international ties.

I wish everybody successful and fruitful work, attainment of all intended objectives, helpful and relevant meetings. I am sure that the extensive exhibition programme, with leading industry experts involved, will serve to promote Kazakhstan-made products and to enhance their quality and range.
