Kazakhstan: Confectionery Rakhat sells 76 percent stake to South Korea.
Kazakhstan Confectionary JSC Rakhat announced its intention to sell 76 percent of its common shares to South Korea's LOTTE Confectionery.
As reported, the completion of the transaction is expected in the second half of 2013.
It is also noted that the value of the share capital of JSC Rakhat in a transaction valued at approximately $ 157 million.
Founded in 1942, Rahat, produces a total of 250 types of confectionery, including chocolate, candy, cookies and wafers. Meanwhile, the shares are placed on KASE Rahat, the total market value - 17 billion 993 million tenge ($ 119 million).
